Pat Uwaje King (otherwise called Patricia King) is a Nigerian Gospel music artist and song writer, most popularly for her solo album, “HE’S DONE ME WELL.
The 41 year old, raised in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria later moved to Lagos where she began her singing vocation at Christ Winners Church, at age 13. She is her parents’ first daughter and the fourth of seven children. Her expert profession started in 1999 when she did a progression of jingles and advertisements for African Independent Television (AIT) Nigeria. She went to Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) where she was the music director of the school’s mass choir – Original Love Choir (OLC). Midnight Crew, the multi-grant winning gospel music group of four was formed out of OLC on 8 November 2001, whilst Patricia studying at YABATECH.
PatUwaje King is a Creative Arts graduate of the University of Lagos, Nigeria. She is a music expert and leader of Midnight Crew, a gospel music group, prevalently known for their hit track, “IGWE”
In November 2013, Midnight Crew annouced the next phase of their development, allowing individuals to set out on solo project while utilizing on the stage previously made by the Midnight Crew Music and Ministries. This saw Pat Uwaje King and different individuals from the crew discharging their possibilities by setting out on different activities including solo album and singles, mentorship training programs for choir and potential music ministers, among others. Uwaje King has since discharged 6 singles, including “Thank You Lord”,”Amara”, “Jehovah Daalu”, “Eze”, “He’s Done me Well” and “All Power”. Soon after the release of the third single, “All Power”, Pat Uwaje King reported the arrival of her debut solo album which was released on 3rd of June 2015. On the 13 of June 2020, her Sophomore album with 12 excellent tracks, among which is the generally acknowledged “All Power Praise Medley” was released.
